Background

The Ver Sacrum Sabina recalls an ancient tradition, which spread then among other Italic peoples, including the Sunnis; was a vow to the Sacred Spring, whose totem was the wild bull, which was intended to encourage new accomplishments and achievements. The Samnites occupied areas included in today’s regions of Abruzzo, Molise and Campania Beneventana high. Samnites, then, with a new Sacred Spring, was born the people of Irpinia, whose totem was the wolf (hirpus), and who occupied the current Irpinia. From this ancient tradition it is called our Fiano as a search for new sensations.
