Our farm is situated in Campania on the heights of Casalduni City, in the heart of the Sannio. Fosso degli Angeli, founded in 2009, takes its name from a centuries-old olive groves owned.

For over three generations our family is dedicated to the cultivation of grapes and olives, passion and experience have given us the possibility to begin the production of wines, exclusively with our own grapes. We have about 7 hectares of vineyards, 10 hectares of olive trees and 15 hectares of pasture and forest. After two years of testing to refine the technique followed by our Winemaker Roberto Mazzer, with the 2011 harvest officially begin our journey in wine production.

The bulk of the work for a good quality gets in the vineyard. The care and attention to plants and respect for the land are key. The vineyards are mostly on calcareous clay soils at an average height of about 450 meters above sea level. The production per hectare is maintained around 60/80 quintals, thanks to a proper winter pruning and thinning out of excess bunches, all this guarantees a high value starting material.

The micro-climate and biodiversity in the vineyard are vital to ensure a balance, protection and plant nutrition. The vineyards and olive groves have always been processed according to organic farming methods, but by 2012, as a guarantee to the consumer, we decided to start the certification process in compliance with the organic farming Regulation. In fact, after three years, from the 2016 harvest we are officially organic. In the cellar we work in a traditional way, the fermentation is spontaneous and technology is reduced to the minimum. From an energy standpoint, we are completely autonomous with a photovoltaic system of 12 KW.
